**Job Summary:**

*In the grooming department, you will be part of the team operating snow cats at night safely and efficiently. We strive for a top quality and safe snow surface that exceeds our guests' expectations.*

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

• Safe operation of a Pisten Bully 400 snowcat including:
• Daily checkout and inspection of machines.
• Correct start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Tiller and Blade operation.
• Efficient operating practices.
• Learn the necessary skills to maintain ski runs around the mountain:
• Be familiar with Brundage Mtn. trail system.
• Grooming theory and techniques.
• Understand changing snow and weather conditions.
• Fill out daily grooming log.

## Qualifications

• **Job Qualifications:**
• *Highschool diploma or equivalent.*
• *Excellent communication skills.*
• *Previous grooming experience preferred.*
• *Heavy Equipment operating experience required.*
• *Strong mechanical knowledge of equipment.*

**Other Requirements:**

• *Valid driver’s license*
• *Must be available and willing to work night shifts. We work all holidays and weekends, 40 hours per week.*

• Ability to drive and pass insurance driving history inquiry
• Must be available to work night shifts. Holidays and weekends required
• 40 hours per week minimum, overtime may be required
• Ability to ski or snowboard alpine terrain
