**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a **911 Diversion Mental Health Therapist** to join Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI) as part of the on-site team at the **Baltimore City Police Departmentās 911 Call Center**. In this role, youāll help transform how our city responds to behavioral health emergencies and be a calm presence in moments of crisis.
Youāll assess high-acuity behavioral health calls, provide crisis counseling, suicide prevention, and safety planning, and coordinate with police, EMS, and mobile crisis teams to ensure individuals receive the right level of care.

**What Youāll Do**
- Answer and assess high-acuity behavioral health calls.
- Provide crisis counseling, suicide prevention, and safety planning.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications**
- Maryland LGPC or LMSW license (required); LCPC/LCSW-C (preferred).
- 2+ years as a counseling professional (preferred)
- Strong crisis intervention skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
