## Description

Job Purpose

  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at EHM Senior Solutions plays a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. This position is integral to ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents in a healthcare setting, supporting their daily needs and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Help residents with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a nurturing and positive environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of residents' rooms and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met according to individual care plans.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in caregiving practices.

**Sign On Bonus Potential: Up to $4,000 sign-on bonus depending on shift and full or part-time status
Shifts: Day Shift 7am to 3:30pm. Afternoons 3pm - 11:30pm. Midnights 11pm to 7:30am**
## Qualifications

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or geriatric care
  • Experience working with elderly patients or residents in a nursing home or similar environment

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Ability to perform basic nursing care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and moving patients
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
