## Description

**EHM Senior Solutions**is looking for a compassionate and experienced **Nurse Unit Manager** (LPN/RN) to provide leadership and clinical oversight for a skilled nursing unit. This role is responsible for coordinating resident care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting the highest standards of quality care and resident satisfaction.

**Job duties are, but not limited to:**

  • Oversight of and coordination of care for the facility’s resident population, including supervision of the nurses and CNAs who work on the resident units.
  • Participate in daily IDT meetings, resident care conferences, and other daily/weekly meetings as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each client ensuring care plan development that is individualized for each client’s needs.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring staff skill and competency in meeting care needs.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing Services as necessary/required, concerning the operation of the clinical services team.
  • Determine the appropriate staffing levels for the census and acuity level provided.
  • Communication with residents and families to ensure high levels of satisfaction are maintained, as well as to receive and resolve grievances that occur.

**Full-time: Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with rotating weekend and on-call requirements.**
## Qualifications
**Requirements**

  • **Licensure/Certification:** Must possess a current LPN or RN license in the State of Michigan in good standing
  • **Education:** LPN or RN program completion
  • **Previous work experience:**
  • Minimum 2-years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility
  • Minimum 1-year supervisory experience
  • **Prior knowledge of:** Nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • **Skills Necessary:**
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize & problem solve
  • Strong work ethic
  • Passion for senior living and skilled nursing industry
  • Strong organizational, communication & conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent observation and assessment skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel)
