About The Role

## Description

**EHM Senior Solutions** is looking for a **Midnight Shift Charge Nurse** to oversee nursing operations during the overnight shift, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care in accordance with physician orders and regulatory requirements. This role supervises nursing staff, coordinates resident care, responds to changes in condition and emergencies, and serves as the clinical leader on duty. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective leadership, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

**Job duties are, but are not limited to:**

o Lead and Support Nursing Staff – Supervise, mentor, and coordinate both nurses and CNAs on midnight shift.

o Provide Direct Patient Care – Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents’ health conditions.

o Develop and Implement Care Plans – Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure personalized, high-quality care.

o Ensure Compliance and Documentation – Maintain accurate records and adhere to state, federal, and facility regulations.

o Communicate with Families and Respond to Emergencies – Provide updates, address concerns, and handle urgent medical situations.

**Hours:**Full-time, 11pm-7am. Rotating 2-week schedule, every other weekend.

## Qualifications

**Required Education:**

  • Licensure/Certification: Must possess a current LPN or RN license in the State of Michigan in good standing
  • Education: Minimum of 2 year associate, LPN or RN program completion

**Required Experience:**

  • Minimum 2-years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility

**Prior knowledge of:**

  • Nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • Soft Skills Necessary
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize & problem solve
  • Strong work ethic
  • Passion for senior living and skilled nursing industry
  • Strong organizational, communication & conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent observation and assessment skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel)
