OVERVIEW

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing the month-end and year-end close processes. This role supervises accounting staff, supports audits and tax compliance, and partners with the VP of Finance to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• General ledger management
• Month-end and year-end close
• Financial statement preparation
• Account reconciliations
• Fixed asset management
• Sales tax, income tax, and audit support
• Oversight and training of Accounting staff
• Cost Accounting analysis
• Payroll Management

## Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
**· Education & Experience**
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting
o CPA required
o 5–8+ years accounting experience
o Public accounting experience preferred
o Month-end close ownership
o Financial statement preparation
o Audit support experience
