## Description
**Job Title:** Dining Room Manager
**Location:** Savr Restaurant
**Reports To:** General Manager
**Employment Type:** Full-Time
### Position Overview
The Dining Room Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth service execution, and strong team leadership. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and guest-focused, with accountability for service standards, staff performance, and operational flow throughout each shift.
### Key Responsibilities
**Guest Experience**
- Lead the dining room to deliver consistently high levels of hospitality and service.
- Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, resolve concerns, and build repeat business.
- Handle guest feedback, service recovery, and special requests with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain Savr’s service standards, pacing, and presentation at all times.
**Front-of-House Operations**
- Oversee floor execution during service, including table flow, pacing, and section management.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and host team to ensure seamless service.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the restaurant’s reservation system.
- Ensure dining room cleanliness, readiness, and overall appearance meet Savr standards.
**Team Leadership**
- Supervise, coach, and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
- Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate daily priorities, and set expectations.
- Address performance issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of FOH staff.
- Enforce company policies and standards consistently.
**Operational Oversight**
- Monitor sales, labor, and guest flow during shifts to support operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, alcohol service regulations, and safety standards.
- Handle cash management, comps, voids, and shift reports as required.
- Support special events, private dining, and large parties.
**Standards and Compliance**
- Ensure all staff follow service procedures, responsible alcohol service laws, and safety protocols.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
- Address and correct any service, safety, or compliance issues in real time.
## Qualifications
### Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of restaurant front-of-house experience, including supervisory or management roles.
- Strong leadership and guest service skills in a high-volume environment.
- Experience with reservation and POS systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- ServSafe Alcohol or equivalent certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
