About The Role

## Maintenance Technician - All Shifts

Performs maintenance functions for all manufacturing and related support equipment, grounds and facilities. Installation, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and cleaning of same. Support & participate in ongoing TPM & TQM practices. Follow maintenance schedules and maintaining service records. Observe plant and departmental safety, operating, and housekeeping procedures. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Shifts

  • 1st: 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • 2nd: 4:00pm - 12:00am
  • 3rd: 12:00am - 8:00am

DUTIES

  • Installation, troubleshooting, repairs of all manufacturing & related equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant equipment and work areas
  • Learn & utilize computer skills as it pertains to specific equipment and departmental scheduling & record keeping
  • Practice lock-out / tag-out procedures
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and spare components
  • Participate in and support process improvement programs

## Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical & electrical maintenance skills (must provide proof of experience)
  • Positive attitude toward teamwork & performing work assignments
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated & self-directed, requiring minimal supervision
  • Willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends, holidays, and other shift(s)
  • Accept and complete company paid training as available and deemed necessary
  • Must be able to use and understand a multimeter
  • Must be comfortable working with heights
  • Must have a good attendance record
  • Basic computer skills/knowledge

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

  • Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  • Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
  • Crawling: Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
