Process Technician (3347)

## Description

**SUMMARY**

The successful applicant will support and help improve ongoing business activities in a powder metal manufacturing plant. This function will also be a key participant in development of new process or applications.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Training of Die Setters (molding and sizing)

Help develop robust processing techniques that reduce scrap or improve throughput

Assist in product redesign to resolve product or production difficulties.

Participate in development of new processes or applications.

Tooling Support

New Product Development

Troubleshooting and Equipment Specifications

Support Continuous Improvement Projects

• Limited travel may be required
• **QUALIFICATIONS**

An individual must have solid experience in the following

Cincinnati Rigid Reflex

• Gasbarre Press experience
• Experience with multi-action and hydraulic presses.
• **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
• High School diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 years of experience as Class “AA” Die Setter.
