We are growing rapidly and are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Permit Specialist to join our team.

**Position Summary**

The Permit Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating permits for residential construction projects. This role works closely with homeowners, municipalities, project managers, and production teams to ensure all permits and documentation are submitted accurately and approved on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**

• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for residential construction projects
• Communicate with city and municipal offices regarding permit requirements and approvals
• Coordinate with homeowners to obtain signatures, documents, and required information
• Maintain accurate records of permit statuses, inspections, and approvals
• Schedule inspections with local municipalities as needed
• Work closely with production and scheduling departments to ensure projects stay on timeline
• Review project paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Follow up on delayed permits and resolve issues quickly
• Maintain knowledge of local building codes and permit requirements
• Provide updates to internal teams regarding permit progress

**Qualifications**

• Previous administrative, permitting, construction office, or coordination experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems
• Experience working with municipalities or construction permits is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
