Job Purpose

The Business Teacher at Summit Christian Academy is responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in grades 9-12 within a faith-based Christian environment. The role involves fostering a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere that aligns with the our values and educational standards. This role will specifically teach personal finance and economics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students, ensuring alignment with the school's Christian values and academic standards.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to promote academic growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student learning and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about the latest educational practices and trends.
• Uphold and promote the mission and values of Summit Christian Academy in all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
