Oakworth Capital Bank is expanding and has an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team in **Birmingham, AL**! **Summary:**
The Investment Analyst will be responsible in assisting the Wealth team on a wide variety of projects and analysis with components of strategy, data gathering/inquiry, and reporting. This role works closely with Wealth Leadership, Portfolio Managers, Client Advisors, and Client Support across all markets to ensure a coordinated approach to serving our clients.
**Key Roles/Responsibilities:**
- Point of contact for executing trades throughout the organization
- Owns the process of rebalancing portfolios
- Responsible for analyzing portfolios to ensure suitability
- Creation and dissemination of internal investment communications
- Assists in the creation of client meeting materials and proposals
**Responsibility Details:**
- Manages the daily oversight for Black Diamond.
- Owns and manages internal Investment Committee Meetings, including management of meeting minutes.
- Responsible for analyzing individual investments to ensure suitability.
- May participate in client meetings occasionally.
- Work with Wealth Leadership to foster an atmosphere of continual improvement, encouraging new ideas and implementing best practices.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or related area of study is required.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal guidance.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
