Mental Health OP Counseling Intern

## Description

**Description of duties:** Participates in Intake Evaluations, Individual, Family, Collateral, and Group Therapy sessions; attends Case Conferences and Supervision sessions; documents sessions using the Electronic Health Record; maintains and updates client demographic information in client chart; evaluates client’s progress regularly; creates/updates Treatment Plans in collaboration with client & client’s family; maintains and keeps current all required consent forms.

## Qualifications

**Qualifications:** Completion of 1st year of Master’s program in counseling, psychology, or social work. Bilingual preferred.

**Skills and knowledge required:** Must enjoy working with children and adolescents and designated families. Must demonstrate a genuine fondness and respect for children, adolescents, adults and families. Must be able to effectively communicate with other team members.
