Job Purpose

• The Digital Skills Trainer at Goodwill Industries of Dallas Inc. is responsible for empowering individuals with the necessary digital skills to thrive in today's technology-driven environment. This role focuses on delivering effective training programs that enhance participants' digital literacy, enabling them to improve their employment prospects and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training curricula tailored to various skill levels, ensuring participants gain proficiency in essential digital tools and platforms.
• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars that cover topics such as basic computer operations, internet navigation, software applications, and digital communication.
• Assess participants' learning needs and progress, providing personalized feedback and support to facilitate their growth and development.
• Collaborate with other departments and external partners to identify training opportunities and resources that align with organizational goals and participant needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital trends and technologies to continuously improve training content and methodologies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to optimize learning outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, and progress reports.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participant engagement and motivation.
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new trainers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality program delivery.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital skills training or a similar role.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences.
• Experience working with adult learners and understanding their unique learning needs.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training tools.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of digital literacy concepts and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to assess learners' needs and tailor training programs accordingly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring training materials are accurate and up-to-date.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
