**Maintenance Technician**
Olen is seeking a skilled and motivated, full-time Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community in Las Vegas, NV: Spanish Wells.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents. Technical expertise and dedication to quality workmanship will contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for our residents.
This position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks related to building and apartment maintenance, including unit turnovers, completing work orders, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.
**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:**
- Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing items such as:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Appliances
- Air conditioning
- Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and helping with apartment turnover in general.
- Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other tasks as assigned.
## Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
- Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must provide and use their own hand tools to perform duties required unless otherwise specified by the property.
- Effective problem solving and time management skills
- Good attention to detail
- Team player attitude
- Able to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

**Job Type:** Full-time (8-hour shift, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime)
**Compensation:** $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
