As a YMCA Kitchen Staff member, you'll help prepare nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen. **What You'll Be Doing**

• Prepare and serve food using established recipes and production procedures.
• Assist with food presentation and meal service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
• Properly store food and maintain organized kitchen inventory.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food preparation surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen that meets YMCA, state health, and safety standards.
• Report equipment repairs or maintenance needs to your supervisor.
• Attend staff meetings, required trainings, and special events.
• Assist with other kitchen and food service responsibilities as needed.

## Qualifications
**Requirements**

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Experience preparing meals for large groups is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a warm kitchen setting.
• Successfully complete a background screening.
• Obtain YMCA-required certifications within 30 days of hire, including:
• First Aid/CPR/AED
• Required Praesidum online training modules
