**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Office Manager specializing in Home Care to oversee daily administrative operations within our Beaver Home Care location. This role requires a proactive administrator capable of managing multiple processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering an efficient and welcoming environment for both staff and patients.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the administrative functions of the home care practice, including scheduling, intake, patient records management, and office workflows.
- Support many fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, medical billing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), state licensing requirements, and safety standards.
- Coordinate human resources activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
- Implement practice management strategies that optimize patient management software use and improve overall clinic operations.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in medical office management within a home care or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies, compliance standards, and healthcare practice management best practices.
- Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and medical billing processes.
- Excellent managerial communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach to patient interactions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks; experience with Managed Care and Utilization Management is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving healthcare policies while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
- Experience with Home Care scheduling as well as intake of new clients.
