We are seeking a dependable and professional Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily HK&L Essential Services. This position is responsible for helping maintain a Clean, Safe, Sanitary and Comfortable environment for residents while ensuring laundry and linen needs are met in a timely and organized manner.

## **Key Responsibilities**

• Supervise and support HK&L Team Members
• Assign daily work tasks and verify quality, cleanliness and completion of work
• Ensure resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, laundry areas, linen closets and assigned work areas are clean, orderly and properly maintained
• Maintain appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, linens, chemicals and personal protective equipment
• Ensure staff follow infection prevention, safety, sanitation, chemical handling and facility policy requirements
• Coordinate HK&L services with Nursing and other departments to meet resident and facility needs
• Assist with schedules, training, performance feedback and department records
• Report equipment concerns, hazardous conditions, supply needs and resident or staff concerns to the Administrator
• Complete HK&L duties as needed to support daily operations

## Qualifications
**Education**

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

**Work Days and Hours**

• Monday - Friday Day Shift (Hours to be Determined) | Weekends, Holidays or Beyond Regular Scheduled Hours if needed

**Experience | Skills | Knowledge**

Required

• Up to one year HK&L Environmental Essential Services
• Previous Supervisor Experience
• Dependable, Organized, Respectful and work as part of a Team
• Long Term Care, Nursing Facility, Hospital or Healthcare Environments
• Knowledge of Cleaning Methods, Laundry Practices, Infection Control, Chemical Safety and Proper Equipment Us
• Ability to Lead, Train and Communicate Effectively with Staff, Residents, Families and Facility Department

**Work Requirements**

• Move throughout the facility during the workday
• Push, pull, move and/or lift up to twenty-five pounds
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, infectious materials, odors and other healthcare facility condition
• All facility safety, sanitation, infection prevention and resident rights policies and protocols
