PARAMEDIC

## Description

Full Time Paramedic- schedule varies, and will be subject to rotating on call. Delivers basic/advanced/MICU/Air Ambulance life support and transports sick or injured persons to destination medical facility while working as a member of an MICU/air ambulance team. Responds to patient locations as assigned by dispatch and monitors communication equipment to maintain contact with dispatch. The EMT-Paramedic assists with triage duties and may assume care of all patients.

## Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited EMT-Paramedic program with a satisfactory course grade.
• Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Card
• Current and valid Class C Texas Driver’s license.
• Current and valid Texas DSHS EMT-Paramedic certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
