About The Role
## Description
Position Overview
- The General Labor position is responsible for supporting daily production and operational
- needs in a manufacturing environment. Team members in this role perform a variety of
- physical tasks to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across the production floor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general production tasks, including loading, unloading, and moving
materials within the facility.
- Assist with assembly, packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished products.
- Operate basic production equipment and follow standard operating procedures
(SOPs).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMPs) and safety standards.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, discarding trash, and
maintaining order in the workspace and surrounding area.
- Handle end-of-line packing, including placing finished goods into shipping
- containers, arranging products on pallets for safe travel, and wrapping pallets
- securely.
- Perform re-work assignments as directed to ensure product quality standards are
met.
- Conduct other material handling tasks as required.
- Safely lift, carry, push, and pull products and materials weighing up to 50 pounds
numerous times during a shift.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the entire shift.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to meet daily production
goals.
- Assist with quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience helpful but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Basic math skills to support counting, measuring, and recording tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be hot or cold depending
on seasonal conditions.
- Must be able to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds numerous
times during a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift (8–12 hours).
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Required use of PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and other gear as directed.
