  • **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
  • •Ensure all guest areas are clean, presentable and free of trash and debris, cleaning spills within guest areas with urgency.
  • Maintain clean trash cans throughout the restaurant that are never overflowing.
  • Assist Bussers by washing tables and helping guests with tray and trash removal.
  • Responsible for restrooms cleanliness to or above standards and following established cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure all dishes are properly washed, sanitized and stocked with minimal breakage operating the industrial dishwasher as required.
  • Maintain and clean and organized dish storage area.
  • Adapt to changing guest volume with a sense of urgency.
  • Perform work tasks calmly and effectively under stressful conditions.
  • Promote an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting co-workers.
  • Uphold the Company’s service standards and KOF Teamwork Responsibilities.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, side work and ensure checklists are completed accurately.
  • Effectively communicate with fellow crew members and the management team.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for crew and guests.
  • Comply with all city, state, federal and Company regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety policies and promptly report violations or concerns to the General Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
**MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**
**EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No previous work experience required. On-the-job training available.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**

  • Comfortable working within a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand an extensive variety of work-related instructions and

documents pertaining to Company operations, safety, finance, HR, and payroll.

  • Ability to use the Company’s timekeeping system and point of service system.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and apply new work skill sets and concepts.
  • Working knowledge of city, state, and federal hospitality laws and regulations.
