opportunities for innovation and growth. Perricone Farms is seeking a CDL Driver, for the Fort Pierce facility. This is a
dynamic role that provides long-term, stable employment along with a competitive benefits package, including but not

Summary

  • Responsible for operating trucks for the purpose of hauling, storage and accessibility. Assist with the needs of the Extraction
  • team through various projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 13 Speed - High-Low Manual Transmission a Must Have
 Daily, ensure trailers are in place for production staff to access materials easily.
 Daily, move trailers between the yard and on-site and off-site cooler locations
 As needed, take truck/trailers to weigh station.
 Bring dump trailers around to pavement to empty trash receptacles.
 As needed, operate fruit unloading ramp.
 As needed, clean up fruit unloading area.
 Operate forklift to load and unload drums, materials and other production items as needed.
 Maintain a level of professionalism in attitude with staff.
 Daily, ensure that you operate the trucks, forklift and other machinery, such as the electric pallet jack safely.
 Assist in other areas of production as directed by Production Leads, Manager or other supervisory staff.
 Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
 Maintains telephone contact with supervisor to receive pickup and delivery instructions.
 Loads and unloads trucks.
 Performs pre and post trip inspections prior to checking truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
 As needed performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs.
 Daily, adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
 Understands and comply with regulatory standards and certifications such as SQF, USDA and HACCP.
 Ensure that all SQF, Organic, Non-GMO procedures are followed to prevent cross -contamination.
 If Food and/or Employee safety is jeopardized, you are responsible for reporting unsafe conditions and/or acts to supervisor immediately.
 If possible, attempt to remedy the unsafe condition and/or act.
 Adheres to and enforces company policies and safety regulations.
 Responsible for understanding, complying with and implementing company policies and procedures.
 Responsible for ensuring the proper use of all machinery and creating a safe work environment.
**Hours Needed: 1:00PM - 10:00PM EST**

Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities

 Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations. Organizational Relationships
