We are currently hiring a **full-time Resident Field Technician** based out of our **Tolono, IL location**, serving Douglas, Edgar, Coles, Clark, Cumberland, Shelby counties, and surrounding areas.

## **What You’ll Do**
As a Resident Field Technician, you’ll bring expertise directly to the customer—diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment to keep operations running.

• Perform **preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs** on diesel equipment
• Travel daily to **customer job sites within your assigned region**
• **Operate and maintain your service truck** and tools
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems
• Order parts and **accurately document service work for invoicing**
• Ensure adherence to **company, safety, and manufacturer standards**

## **What You Bring**

• **3–5 years of experience** in diesel equipment repair (hydraulics & electrical)
• Ability to **read schematics and troubleshoot complex issues**
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical skills
• Valid driver’s license and **clean driving record**
• **Class A CDL (preferred)**
• Technical training or certifications (preferred)

## **Work Schedule**

• Monday–Friday | **Typical hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM**
• Occasional Saturdays based on customer needs

## **Work Environment & Physical Demands**

This is a hands-on, field-based role working around heavy equipment

• Lift 50+ lbs, climb, bend, and work in various positions
• Work outdoors in **changing weather conditions**
• Exposure to mechanical equipment and shop environments
• Occasional work at heights

• **PPE provided**, including safety glasses, gloves, and boots
