**Medication Aide (CMA / ACMA)**
*Do you have a heart for seniors and a passion for memory care? We’d love to meet you.*
Iris Memory Care of Tulsa is a small, freestanding assisted living community dedicated entirely to residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We’re looking for compassionate medication aides who want to make a meaningful difference — every shift, every day.
**Why Iris?**
- Small, intimate community — 54 residents across 3 buildings, so you’ll truly know the people in your care
- Meaningful, specialized work in memory care - not a general floor rotation
- Age-in-place model - you’ll walk alongside residents through every stage of the journey
- Competitive pay: $17/hr for CMAs, $17.50-$18.50/hr for ACMAs, based on experience
- Memory care experience is a plus - and rewarded in pay
**What You’ll Do**
As a medication aide at Iris, you’ll administer medications and provide hands-on care to residents at all stages of dementia — building real relationships in a community small enough to feel like home.
- Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and state regulations
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining
- Monitor and document vital signs and weights monthly or as required
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
- Support life enrichment activities, outings, and social programming
- Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment
- Uphold the dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality of every resident
## Qualifications
**What We’re Looking For**
- Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry as both a CNA and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - required
- High school diploma or GED required; 12+ years of education preferred
- At least 18 years of age (or older if required by state regulations)
- 1+ year of experience working with older adults as a personal care assistant preferred
- Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
- Ability and willingness to meet continuing education and state certification requirements
- Genuine compassion for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia
*At Iris Memory Care of Tulsa, you won’t be just another med aide on a large hospital floor. You’ll be a familiar, trusted presence to residents who depend on you and a valued member of a team that truly cares. If that sounds like the work you were meant to do, we’d love to hear from you.*
