## Position Overview

The Life Enrichment Assistant helps plan and lead activities that support residents’ emotional, social, cognitive, and physical well-being. This role works closely with residents throughout the day and helps create a warm, engaging environment throughout the community.

**This is a full-time position. Those candidates with some weekend availability are preferred.**

## Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with daily activities, events, games, crafts, music, exercise, and social engagement
• Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships with residents and families
• Support outings, special events, and holiday celebrations
• Assist with activity setup, decorating, organization, and cleanup
• Help maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the community
• Work collaboratively with caregivers, nursing staff, and leadership
• Adapt activities to meet the unique needs of residents living with dementia

## Pay
**Rate of pay starts at $15.00 per hour, and it is negotiable based on experience. Must be open to working some weekends.**

## Qualifications
## Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and communicate with seniors living with dementia
• Creative, energetic, and team-oriented
• Previous senior living, memory care, activities, childcare, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred — but not required
• Must be able to pass background check and meet employment requirements
• Weekend availability is required
