We are currently hiring temporary employees in Port Lavaca, TX. **Candidates must have current Formosa training** and be available to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. We are seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals who are ready to contribute to our team immediately.
**Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables**
- Must have Formosa Training
- Technicians must learn & Operate Automated & Manual Hydro Blast tooling safely and efficiently.
- Operators must be able to operate 10k, 20k pumps & Hydro Blast tooling safely and efficiently as needed.
- Supervisors must understand the job of the Operator & Technician. Be able to communicate with customers & Site Managers. Be able to run multiple crews when required.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Show proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck and Tank cleaning equipment.
# **Required Skills and Competencies**
- Proficient in handling pressure washers, vacuum trucks, scrubbers, and chemical dosing system
- Knowledge of cleaning agents, proper dilution, and safe disposal procedures
- Familiarity with EPA and OSHA standards for industrial hygiene and contamination control
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and assist with minor repairs
- Understanding of hazardous and non-hazardous waste segregation and disposal methods
- Trained in safe entry and cleaning procedures for tanks, vessels, and enclosed areas
## Qualifications
# **Minimum Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED; technical training in industrial cleaning preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in industrial cleaning or maintenance roles
# **Work Environment**
- Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, and Tank cleaning equipment
- Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customer and other Miller sites as needed.
- Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
