Applicants claiming Indian Preference must complete the full application and **must** provide documentation verifying eligibility (such as a tribal enrollment card or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)).

Job duties include, but are not limited to

• Draws blood and collects other specimens, including times specimens, from patients or donors in the clinic for analysis or other medical purposes under the direct supervision of the Lab Supervisor.
• Assembles equipment according to requirements for specified tests or procedures.
• Converses with the patient to allay fears about the procedure.
• Properly documents lab specimens and requisitions; maintains lab records, assists in logging lab results, and notifying medical staff of abnormal results.
• Maintains lab supplies

## Qualifications

• Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position
• Must align with OKCIC vision, mission, and core values
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least two years of phlebotomy experience in all age groups, including pediatrics required
• Prefer certification in phlebotomy
