**ABOUT KENNEDY CATHOLIC**

**JOB SUMMARY**

To teach a combination of social studies classes offered in Grades 9-12 for the 2026-2027 school year, which may include dual credit classes through Seattle University’s Matteo Ricci Program.

**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS**

  • Salary is dependent upon experience, certification, and education according to Kennedy Catholic’s faculty compensation schedule. For the 2024-2025 school year, a teacher’s salary ranges between $59,320and $112,590.
  • Medical, dental, and life insurance through the Archdiocese of Seattle
  • Participation in the Archdiocesan defined contribution program and voluntary

  • Opportunities to participate/assist with a wide array of co-curricular programs, including athletics, arts, campus ministry, and other clubs and activities for additional modest stipends

## Qualifications
**QUALIFICATIONS**

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in history or an adjacent field
  • Master’s degree in the specific content area or a related field
  • Washington State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain one)
  • Familiarity with educational technology
  • Recent classroom experience, preferably in a high school setting

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Effectively utilize educational technology to enhance the learning of students
  • Use data to inform instructional practices
  • Work collaboratively within the department on curriculum and assessments

  • Be organized and an effective communicator with all members of the school community
