**JOB SUMMARY**
To teach a combination of social studies classes offered in Grades 9-12 for the 2026-2027 school year, which may include dual credit classes through Seattle University’s Matteo Ricci Program.
**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS**
- Salary is dependent upon experience, certification, and education according to Kennedy Catholic’s faculty compensation schedule. For the 2024-2025 school year, a teacher’s salary ranges between $59,320and $112,590.

## Qualifications
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in history or an adjacent field
- Master’s degree in the specific content area or a related field
- Washington State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain one)
- Familiarity with educational technology
- Recent classroom experience, preferably in a high school setting

- Effectively utilize educational technology to enhance the learning of students
- Use data to inform instructional practices
- Work collaboratively within the department on curriculum and assessments
