**As the Wound Care Nurse at Aston Park Health Care Center, you will play a crucial role in providing care to residents under the supervision of their attending physicians and the Director of Nursing Services. Your responsibilities will include:**

• Assess and monitor wounds and skin injuries, including pressure injuries, skin tears, MASD, and venous ulcers
• Complete weekly wound documentation and communicate updates to families as needed
• Round weekly with the wound physician and support ongoing treatment plans
• Apply dressings, monitor treatment effectiveness, and help adjust care approaches when appropriate
• Educate teammates on skin injury prevention, wound healing, and best practices for resident care
• Participate in care plan meetings, wound reviews, and quality improvement efforts

**What We’re Looking For**

• **Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.**
• **Long-term care experience preferred**
• **Wound care certification preferred**
• **Strong attention to detail, compassion, and commitment to excellent resident care**
