## Description
**Summary:**
The Mission Integration Coordinator serves as a central connector within the Mission Services Division for participant, partner, and business referral ecosystem, ensuring the successful coordination, integration, and execution of mission services, strategic partnerships, referral pathways, and participant access processes.
This role functions as the operational glue between participants, internal departments, community partners, employers, and referral sources to ensure services, initiatives, and collaborative partnerships are fully implemented and operating effectively. The position supports both the micro-level participant experience and the macro-level coordination of systems, partnerships, and service delivery workflows to ensure timely, person-centered, and high-quality service access. The position is essentially responsible for making sure:
- relationships become referrals,
- referrals become participants,
- participants move successfully through services within the first 60 days,
- and employment partnerships translate into measurable operational activity rather than remaining conceptual.
The Mission Integration Coordinator is responsible for helping operationalize new and existing initiatives by ensuring intake procedures, referral processes, partnership expectations, communication workflows, and service delivery models are executed consistently and aligned with organizational standards, mission outcomes, compliance requirements, and quality expectations.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and monitor participant intake, onboarding, and referral processes to ensure timely and accurate access to services
- Participate in referral reviews, intake discussions, partnership meetings, and service coordination activities
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and community partners, nonprofit agencies, schools, workforce agencies, employers, shelters, and organizations operating under MOUs
- Support implementation and operational integration of new mission initiatives, partnerships, programs, and service delivery models
- Ensure partnership expectations, referral procedures, communication standards, and operational workflows are consistently followed
- Track referral trends, participant engagement, response times, conversion activity, and service pipeline movement
- Identify gaps, delays, breakdowns, or barriers within intake, referral, and service delivery systems and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate outreach and targeted recruitment initiatives for identified populations and strategic priorities
- Help strengthen and expand referral pipelines through ongoing community and partner engagement
- Maintain communication and coordination between program teams, business engagement staff, operations, and external stakeholders
- Support data collection, reporting, compliance monitoring, and quality assurance activities related to participant access and partnership outcomes
- Assist in developing standardized workflows, procedures, and continuous improvement practices tied to participant experience and operational effectiveness
- Utilize technology and data tools to support assessment administration, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of workforce lab operations and mission.
- Serve as the primary liaison for community partner visits with cohorts in the lab
- Ensure timely, accurate, and confidential documentation of participant information in required databases, forms, and reports
- Comply with agency policies, procedures, and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
## Qualifications
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with community partners.
- Must be flexible, multi-task orientated, and the able to prioritize job duties with minimal supervision, including flexibility in work hours.
- Must exercise discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Must attend required meetings.
- Must have good written and computer skills necessary to perform job duties.
- Must follow all safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Able to operate a computer and MS Office software including Word and Excel.
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences and communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
- Demonstrates responsible behavior, initiative, effort and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and pays attention to detail.
**Education and Experience:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Policy, Quality Improvement, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field. Master's Degree not required but preferred.
- Computer literate. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
- Has worked assisting people with personal development that have included education, employment, and/or financial goals that have improved their situation. Able to provide feedback that is constructive and unbiased and creates a safe environment for open discussions.
- Background Screening - All candidates must pass a pre-employment background check. Must have a valid driver’s license, up-to-date auto insurance, and a good driving record.
