About The Role
## Description
**Summary:**
Responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Moves material to and from various locations using various equipment, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or Forklifts.
- Pack labels and palletize materials as necessary.
- Loads and unloads materials from common carriers, verifies shipping / receiving information.
- Records inventories as required.
- May dispense contract work to individual work sites.
- Performs other activities as requested.
## Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Requires the ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations in English, and must have enough basic education to understand and follow standard practices and instructions. This level of knowledge is typically below that of high school.
**Language Skills:** Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment: Be prepared to work in a noisy manufacturing area with heavy traffic and floor vibrations.
