## Description

**Opportunity**

We are seeking a **Cleaning Technician** to join our team. The Cleaning Technician is responsible for the performance of the day-to-day cleaning of the physical facilities and grounds of property.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Walk the grounds, halls, and laundry rooms daily, keeping them free of debris and maintaining the dumpster area.
2. Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways and laundry rooms every other day.
3. Ensure regular work by service providers (garbage collection, snow plowing, grounds maintenance, and repairs).
4. Perform seasonal tasks: shovel snow, use snow blower, rake leaves, pull weeds, pick up litter, sweep sidewalks, and clean trash enclosures as needed.
5. Clean storage areas.
6. Replace burned-out light bulbs and clean fixtures.
7. Check smoke detectors and fire extinguishers annually, coordinating with managers.
8. Prepare vacant units for rental, ensuring cleanliness and good repair.
9. Report needed repairs.
10. Other duties as assigned.

**Physical Demands:**

1. Must be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
2. Must be able to shovel and remove snow where geographically applicable.
3. Requires walking through buildings and exterior grounds daily.
4. Must be able to bend, stretch, stoop, lift and reach on a frequent basis.
5. Will involve expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.

**Candidates should possess the following:**

1. Valid Driver's License and insurance
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
3. Ability to work independently to complete goals.
