## Description

Old Edwards Hospitality Group is seeking a creative and dependable Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. This position assists with preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods while maintaining our standards for presentation, consistency, and guest satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist with daily production, plating, decorating, and presentation.
• Measure, mix, and portion ingredients accurately.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and temperature controls.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate product or supply needs.
• Minimize waste while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Assist with special events, seasonal menus, and custom dessert requests.
• Collaborate with chefs and other culinary team members to ensure timely service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

## Qualifications

• Previous pastry, baking, or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Culinary or pastry training is helpful but not required.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, measurements, and kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Ability to follow recipes and production schedules consistently.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements**

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfortable working around hot ovens, refrigeration, and standard commercial kitchen equipment.
