**About the Role**

In this role, you’ll support the daily accounting operations that keep our community bank running smoothly. Working closely with our Controller, you’ll help ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across key financial processes. • Preparing monthly remittance files and supporting secondary market loan balancing.
  • Reviewing and resolving variances in collaboration with accounting leadership.
  • Supporting accounts payable by verifying documentation and posting expenses.
  • Assisting with audit and regulatory tasks to maintain compliance and readiness.

**What You’ll Do**

Your work will help ensure the financial accuracy and operational strength of the Bank. You’ll be trusted with confidential information, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to a culture rooted in ethics, accountability, and service.

  • Balance general ledger accounts including cash, ATM/ITM, unpostables, and control accounts.
  • Maintain accounts payable workflows by verifying approvals, coding, and receipts.
  • Post daily and monthly entries that support timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with audit documentation and escheatment reviews.
  • Prepare tax filings including sales/use tax and withholding submissions.

  • 2–4 years of accounting experience or completion of a post‑secondary accounting program.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on precision.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team goals.
  • Clear communication skills when working with vendors and colleagues.
  • High ethical standards and respect for confidentiality.
