About The Role
## Description
Job Summary: In accordance with FLACRA’s Mission, Vision, Shared Values and Brand Pledge, the Development Coordinator/Assistant is responsible for assisting in creating, implementing, and updating a broad-based fund raising and outreach strategy to promote the mission and services of FLACRA
- Assist with event coordination.
- Attend both community events and FLACRA activities as needed.
- Perform in-person outreach to partners and community members to inform them of FLACRA services/programs.
- Work with fund raising information databases/mailing lists.
- Assist with conducting outreach, recruiting volunteers, coordinate projects, public relations, press releases, fund raising events.
- Utilize social media such as blogs, web banners, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn that promote our events and businesses.
- Participate in community events such as health fairs, community forums, workshops, alumni groups, and recruitment of QHP’s.
- Collect and maintain data for reports that demonstrate outcomes.
- Participate in the implementation of the fund raising marketing strategy.
- Assist in maintaining overall calendar and scheduling fund raising and public relations events.
- Assist in maintaining fund raising communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
## Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: . Must have knowledge of social media platforms and willingness to learn Valid NYS Drivers’ License.
