**TITLE:** Day Porter

**DEPARTMENT:** Maintenance

**REPORTS TO:** Community Manager / Maintenance Coordinator

**JOB SUMMARY:** The Beachwalk Day Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept property. This role involves daily cleaning, landscaping, and light maintenance tasks. The Day Porter reports directly to the Property Manager.

**Requirements:**

• Must be a United States Citizen
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Have reliable transportation
• 16 years or older

**General Duties:**

• Follow the Day Porter checklist to ensure all daily tasks are completed.
• Perform janitorial duty of restrooms and common areas, sanitizing, window washing, sweeping, and mopping.
• Perform exterior landscaping tasks including leaf blowing, weed eating, and light trimming and general grounds upkeep
• Complete light maintenance and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
• Respond to spontaneous tasks as directed by the Property Manager.

**Required Skills:**

• Able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (51+ pounds)
• Willing and able to work in all types of weather
• Basic landscaping and cleaning experience preferred
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
• Time management
• Ability to follow checklists and complete tasks efficiently
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and communicate with supervisors

**Education Requirements:**

• High School Diploma or equivalent
