### **Job Description:**

The Collegium Hall Mentor role is responsible for supervising a classroom of Junior High or High School students each day after school, helping to provide them with a space to study, complete homework, and succeed academically.

You'll be supported in this by your team of fellow Collegium Hall Mentors, your school's Afterschool Director and extensive professional development at the individual and district levels.

This position operates every school year, from August to May, and only operates when school is in session or on days set aside for professional development.

**This Role is Perfect for Someone Who:**

• Has work availability in the afternoons and early evenings
• Has experience working with 7-12th grade students
• Would like more experience working with 7-12th grade students
• Would like to participate in extensive Professional Development
• Would like to be part of an established program that is also constantly growing and improving.

**Projected Schedule:**
Monday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Thursday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
**Hourly Rate:**
$20.00/hr
## Qualifications

## Qualifications

• People who like to and have the patience to work with youth
• People who want experience working in a school
• Ability to pass a background check
• If not pursuing a college degree, willing to complete a ParaPro exam administered by the district

## Education

High School or equivalent
