**Job Summary:**

The vocational supervisor in the focused program of care coordination will be involved in oversight and development of the Clubhouse program, as well as Individual Placement Support (IPS) services. These programs have shared goals related to employment and vocational rehabilitation of clients through close work with both clients and care team, as well as maintenance and utilization of community resources and employer relations. Supervision of care coordinators on these teams includes addressing vocational and social goals of clients in various ways of intervention.

Will develop and have oversight in the daily operations of the Clubhouse to the Clubhouse International standards to include supervision of clubhouse care coordinators in provision of psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults with mental illness, as well as potential coverage on placements during a members absence. Share responsibilities of case managers in facilitation of clubhouse functions such as employment, education, activities, and social events.

Will oversee and maintains fidelity standard of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) supported employment program and supervises staff IPS specialists, manages referrals to the program.

Both program responsibilities include but are not limited to referral management, scheduling work assignments, training new employees, monitoring timecards, supervising staff performance, and assisting the leadership of Care Coordination with recommendations in the hiring and termination of staff members. Conducts weekly staff supervision with focus on providing strategies to support clients with care coordination needs. Identifies administrative and personnel deficiencies; collaborates with leadership as appropriate. Serves in a dual capacity as a limited direct service provider; meets and maintains assigned client caseload by rendering care coordination services.

**Essential Functions:**

  • Provides clear and accurate documentation to support services rendered. Ensures compliance with outlined time frames and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Provides direct oversight of staff under the care coordination continuum, to include but not limited to staff from multiple disciplines.
  • Reviews, monitor, and co-signs staff documentation to include assuring timely documentation
  • Understands billing codes and proper use of codes
  • Monitors Care Coordination metrics
  • Working knowledge of community resources
  • Understanding of program requirements and fidelity guidelines
  • Monitors staff timecards, schedules, and coverage as needed
  • Responsible for referral management, assigning caseloads, and assuring appropriate caseloads size for staff
  • Clubhouse specific tasks:
  • Co-coordinate, plan and participate in unit responsibilities to meet program and member needs
  • Facilitate tasks and projects through involvement of members in meaningful work by maximizing members skills, talents, engagement and leadership.
  • Plan, organize, time manage and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments in a dynamic environment with frequent distractions.
  • Assist in planning, participate in and facilitate fundraising, social/recreational activities, and special events
  • IPS specific tasks:
  • Works with the office of Vocational Rehabilitation and community partners/employers to coordinate services.
  • Collects client outcomes on a monthly basis. Shares outcomes for the program, as well as individual practitioners, with the IPS supported employment team each quarter.
  • Conducts weekly group supervision following the principles of IPS supported employment.

## Qualifications
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**

  • Bachelors degree in counseling or related field
  • Previous experience in the mental health field is desired (for IPS programs serving people with serious mental illness).
  • Preferred one (1) year of supervisory experience or equivalent professional experience with proven ability to lead staff in a supportive, professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability with program development and/or implementation. Experience in case management and/or skills development services.
  • Comprehension of strengths-based client approaches.
  • Must maintain a valid unrestricted drivers license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses the ability to easily build rapport with clients and other team members.
  • Proficient computer skills, to include Microsoft Suite, with the ability to type 25+ w.p.m. for the input and output of information.
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team-oriented environment that fosters good working relationships.
