**About the role:**

The Human Resources professional at DCB supports the daily operations of our HR department, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining meticulous records, and serving as a key point of contact for staff HR inquiries. This position requires professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to supporting employees and school leadership with care and efficiency.

**Key responsibilities:**

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries related to time, attendance, payroll, and workers’ compensation.
  • Partner with our finance team (EdOps) to process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Respond promptly to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Complete employment verifications and maintain organized HR records.
  • Support HR compliance through volunteer application processing and background documentation management.
  • Translate HR policy and procedural documents from English to Spanish.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding, employee record updates, and HRIS maintenance.
  • Track attendance, PTO, and timesheets; prepare HR reports and data summaries.
  • Collaborate on recruitment, hiring, and HR-led training events.
  • Uphold confidentiality and represent the HR department with professionalism at all times.
  • Support special HR projects as assigned.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and HRIS systems, specially Paycom.
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative or HR-related experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SPHR certification is a plus.

**Additional information:**

  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days in the office, 1 remote day.
