**WOODLAND POND CONFORMANCE STATEMENT**
In the performance of their respective duties and responsibilities all employees are expected to conform to the following:

- Complying with all federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations as well as Woodland Pond policy and procedure at all times
- **Position Summary**
- The Laundry Aide is responsible for issuing, storing, tracking and laundering personal and house linens
- **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** (\*CF indicates Critical Function)
- Collects, sorts, and weighs soiled laundry and places it in the appropriate containers, including removing soiled laundry to the designated soiled linen room
- Washes and dries laundry in accordance with procedures
- Folds, counts and delivers resident clean laundry to the residents and/or their closets or linen closets
- Maintains adequate daily linen supplies in closets on the units and notifies department coordinator of supply needs
- Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner
- Assists with the training and orientation of new laundry aides
- Completes all required training and in-services
- All other duties as assigned

- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or holidays
- Maintains predictable and reliable attendance, wearing the appropriate uniform as assigned
### Qualifications
- High school graduate or HSE preferred
- Prior relevant experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Able to write legibly, takes oral and written instruction well
- Able to complete basic math calculations accurately
- Has demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the elderly or geriatric population
### DEgree of travel
Occasional off-site meetings, seminars, and conferences
