## DDB Haul and Launch Team Member
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

These shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following

• Work with the Dock Master, Naval Architects, and Marine Engineering team to configure the straps on the MBH to haul a vessel with an established strap plan.
• Assist in the positioning of vessels within the haul-out basin, including guiding, lifting, blocking, and launching operations.
• Work with the divers to correctly position the straps on the vessel. The vessel is then lifted and moved by the MBH for pressure washing the vessel bottom and blocking in the assigned cradle location.
• Operate forklifts, telehandlers, cranes, and other yard equipment to safely move materials, vessels, and heavy equipment while supporting yard operations, including loading/unloading trucks, relocating equipment, and performing general maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and ensure operational efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious with a commitment to quality work.
• Proficiency in basic rigging, line handling, and equipment operation.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

**Required Qualifications:**

• Forklift, telehandler or crane experience
• Rigging and/or line-handling experience required.
• Able to swim
