Job Purpose

• The Behavioral Tech II plays a crucial role in implementing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and fostering a therapeutic environment. The Behavioral Tech III for Our Turning Point Ranch at LifeStream plays a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of clients. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions, monitor client progress, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals receiving care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and any incidents in accordance with center policies.
• Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate group activities and therapeutic sessions as directed by clinical staff.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions to ensure client safety.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Uphold the mission and values of LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER in all interactions and activities.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation practices.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Understanding of confidentiality and ethical guidelines in behavioral health care.
