Job Purpose

• The Behavioral Tech II - Shift 3 for Our Turning Point Ranch at LifeStream plays a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of clients. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions, monitor client progress, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals receiving care.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise clients to ensure their safety and well-being during the assigned shift.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and recreational activities.
• Implement and support individualized treatment plans as directed by clinical staff.
• Document client behaviors, progress, and any incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
• Respond to crises and emergencies following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment within the facility.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to foster a supportive and respectful atmosphere.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation practices.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
