The MA Therapist - Reg Intern at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions to support the mental health and well-being of clients. The position is designed for a registered intern who is gaining practical experience in a clinical setting as part of their path towards full licensure.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and supervisors.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for clients.
Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of mental health therapy.

## Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Must be a registered intern with the appropriate state board.

Minimum of 1-2 years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health setting.
Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health issues.
Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions.

Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality and client privacy.
