## Description
Summary: Drives minibus, van, or lightweight truck to transport peer support center members to center activities by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

  • Provide safe transportation of members to and from the Peer Support Center and all related activities and trips assigned by the supervisor.
  • Assists all passengers in and out of the vehicle.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of the vans.
  • Be responsible for routine maintenance and cleanliness of the vans.
  • Report all repair needs to the supervisor.
  • Communicate with the local peer support center to report disruption of service.
  • Cleans and services vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • Keeps records of trips and the behavior of passengers.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

## Qualifications

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability. Must possess a current driver’s license and have a good driving record. The individual must be at least 18 years of age. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma, GED, or higher.

Language Skills: Ability to read and write clearly and legibly and write brief reports.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: CPR and First Aid certification and Non-violent crisis intervention training are recommended.
