### **Yard Operations Supervisor**

*(Group Leader – Yard Management)*

Ready to lead a team that keeps operations moving safely, efficiently, and on time? As our **Yard Operations Supervisor**, you’ll guide 25 dedicated team members in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver on commitments, maintain exceptional quality, and uphold our safety-first culture.

**What You’ll Do:**

• Coordinate vehicle movement, inspections, and dispatch to keep schedules on track.
• Build and dispatch loads for transportation carriers.
• Oversee damage claims, loss prevention, and process documentation.
• Mentor and inspire your team to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with customers and present process improvements that make a difference.

**What You’ll Bring:**

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years’ management experience.
• Expert-level Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Total Quality Management.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience meeting customer requirements and managing processes.

**Preferred Extras:**

• Ability to motivate others, build trust, and apply functional expertise.
• Experience with QMS / ISO 9001 standards.

## Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required

**Physical Requirements:**

• Lift up to 25 lbs. for 1–3 hours/day.
• Stand and walk 6–8 hours/day.
• Reach above shoulder level 1–3 hours/day.
• Bend, stoop, squat, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
• Vision suitable for inspections in varying light; hearing sufficient for normal workplace sounds.

• May be around moving machinery and equipment daily
• Depending on work location, it may be exposed to marked changes in temperature and/or humidity
• May be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, radiation, chemicals depending on the work location

• Potentially walks on uneven ground
• May be required to drive motorized equipment such as golf cart or company vehicle
