**Land Survey – Crew Chief**

Our growth offers an opportunity for an experienced Crew Chief to join our team. The selected candidates must have a minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, construction layout and as-built surveys. Position will oversee daily field operations, ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards and will utilize Leica surveying equipment, Carlson GPS and Carlson data collection software.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Lead and supervise one or more field survey team members
• Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys construction layout and as-built surveys
• Collect, process and verify field data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare field notes, sketches and daily photos for project
• Establish horizontal and vertical control networks
• Ensure all survey work complies with Company standards, project requirements and state surveying requirements
• Maintain survey equipment is in proper working condition and calibration as required
• Monitor crew productivity and provide training and mentoring to junior staff

**Required Qualifications:**

• 4+ years of progressive experience in land surveying
• Proficiency operating Leica equipment, Carlson GPS and data collection software
• Thorough understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, field procedures and construction staking
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to travel to project sites as required
