About The Role
## Description
**Position Purpose**
The primary purpose of this position is to provide painting services for Immanuel Living.
**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**
*Policies and Procedures*
- Understand and support the philosophy, policies, and standards of the Terraces and Immanuel Living.
- Maintain confidentiality of residents, resident family members, coworkers, and Immanuel Living.
- Follow Facility and department policies and procedures.
*Position Duties*
- Prepare room(s) for painting.
- Set up for painting.
- Paint rooms, as needed and/or assigned.
- Tear down equipment after painting.
- Clean brushes, rollers, and other tools.
- Replace items removed during preparation (eg., plug-ins, switch cover plates, phone jack covers, etc.).
- Attend sales meetings and report progress on room updates.
- Facilitate all flip supplies, paint ordering, remodel projects items for all buildings.
- Responsible for apartment flips for full turns
- Work Order fulfillment
- Work occasionally in tight and/or cramped spaces.
- Work occasionally from ladders or step-stools

- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Communicate with supervisor and participate in training and/or meetings that help facilitate departmental communication process.
- Function effectively as a team member.
- Maintain good working relationships with other staff.
- Maintain regular work attendance and follow established work schedule.

- Operate multi-line phone to place or receive calls

- Effectively work and communicate with a wide range of individuals from all socio-economic groups, including senior adult residents and people with special needs
- Read, interpret, and implement documents, such as governmental regulations, rules, and procedure manuals
- Work with minimal supervision and effectively manage workflow
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from residents and/or employees
- **Professional Licenses or Certification Required by Law, Rule, or Regulation for Performing This Position**

- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- **Essential Physical, mental, and Emotional Requirements**
- 
- The employee must be at least 18 years of age, as position operates potentially hazardous equipment.
- The employee must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time and/or deadline pressures.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand , walk, use hands to finger; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required of this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

- This position operates under close supervision of a supervisor that assigns and checks work and sets the timing and the sequence of work performed.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- This position is exposed, on a monthly or less frequent basis, to the following: operation of a motor vehicle under all weather conditions; risk of cuts, burns, shock or other minor injuries that do not require hospitalization, unpleasant substances, odors, and/or noises, work above ground level on ladders or scaffolds, work outdoors under all weather conditions.
