Daycare Teacher

## Description

**Odie’s Playhouse** is seeking a toddler teacher *(ages one & two)* to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. **Responsibilities**

• Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Plans individual and group activities to develop self-esteem and stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills such as learning to listen to instructions, playing with others, and using play equipment
• Presents expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Instructs children in practices of personal cleanliness and self-care, which help to create habits of caring for own clothing, picking up and putting away toys and books
• Completes 12 clock hours of professional in-service training annually

## Qualifications
**Required**

• High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent

**Preferred**

• CPR – Certified
• First Aid Training - Certified
