Job Title: Group Leader

Department: Thread Rolling Auto and Hand Ops

• **Reports to: Manufacturing Assistant Manager**
• **Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt**

• **Pay Grade:**
• **Job Summary and Primary Objectives:**
• To monitor and assist the thread rolling process to ensure quality products. Motivate, train and direct the work activities of subordinate staff.
• **Tasks and Responsibilities:**

• Maintain good communication with TM, TL and other Group Leaders
• Coordinate with PC hot parts
• Maintain quality and productivity improvements through Kaizens
• Assist in training programs
• Complete and maintain all paperwork and data entry
• Cover breaks and lunches when needed
• Troubleshoot machine when necessary
• Support management decisions
• Work necessary hours to accommodate production
• Continuous 5S
• Show quality leadership skills
• Maintain a safe environment and encourage safety
• Other duties as assigned

## Qualifications

• Good communication skills (verbal & oral)

• Excellent organization skills.
• Excellent understanding of production processes.
• Good basic mechanical skill

**Education and Experience:**

• Associates degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• 2+ Years of supervisory or team leading experience
